Texas Ranch Wedding

Dorothy & Adam

The bride’s family pecan farm set the stage for this couple’s fabulous fall wedding. The couple’s personality showed in every detail, from the disco ball studded dance floor to the party’s mechanical bull, and the food was no exception. Guests enjoyed an eclectic menu of fried chicken and caviar, roasted goat tostadas (cooked on our live fire table!), lemon pepper quail legs, and ember roasted root vegetables, as well as several food trucks which we coordinated. It was a major highlight of our fall and a true ranch production!

Fall MooDy Wedding

Juliana & Alex

Events are always extra special when they're celebrating a friend or family member, and Juliana and Alex's wedding celebrated both! Alex is the brother of one of our favorite team members, Anna Pearl Woolston, and Juliana is the owner and manager of one of our favorite venues, Allan House. We were honored to be asked to cater their wedding when they got engaged in 2019, but when COVID-19 hit they had to reschedule - twice! By the time they were finally able to celebrate in fall of 2021, she had replanned the wedding several times. Third time’s the charm, though, and a cool and rainy autumn day was the perfect backdrop for a moody and romantic wedding. The reception tent felt cozy, filled with dreamy florals and warm candlelight. Guests snacked on tuna crudo, cinnamon smoked duck and raw oysters during cocktail hour, followed by a plated dinner of Texas redfish with confit potatoes and charred corn and tomato, and braised short ribs with autumn vegetables and roasted onion oil. Juliana and Alex ended their evening with a casual “afterparty”, which kicked-off with espresso martinis and featured a loaded french fry bar to satisfy late-night munchies. As friends of Juliana and Alex’s we know we’re biased, but this wedding was one of our favorites!

Garden Wedding

Alison & Trevor

Austin’s iconic Laguna Gloria was the perfect location for this couple’s French-inspired wedding. While guests mingled on the lawn for cocktail hour, we passed raw oysters, brown-paper-wrapped ham and brie sandwiches, and truffled popcorn. For dinner, the tables were set with French onion soup, grilled bavette, spiced heirloom carrots, broccolini, thin-cut family style fries, and, of course, plenty of champagne. Every chic detail came together to make this evening a Parisian dream come true.

Spring Festival Wedding

Blair & Aaron

The sky was the limit for Blair and Aaron’s wedding at the Greenhouse in Driftwood. Their sunny wedding day felt like a spring festival, complete with a champagne tower and ferris wheel! During cocktail hour, guests grazed on a raw oyster bar, shrimp croquettes, and cheese and charcuterie. The celebration continued at dinner with a luxurious buffet of demara glazed salmon, cheddar jalapeño biscuits, grilled bavette, and white cheddar mac and cheese. Guests danced the rest of the night away while sipping on the couple’s cocktails and snacking on s’mores bites.

Industry Event

Galentine’s

Contigo’s new year began with an exciting announcement: we’re rebranding! To debut our fresh look, we invited our favorite local planners to the “Contigo Chalet'' to be ski bunnies for an Après All Day event, and you bet we treated them in every way possible. We greeted guests at the 360 bridge with hot coffee and flasks filled with sips of Kaluha, then boarded them onto boats to be ferried to the lakefront property. Upon arrival at the Chalet, the concierge was ready to check their bags and issue their cozy robes (embroidered with our new sunburst logo) and fuzzy slippers. Our butler poured glasses of champagne and passed chocolate covered strawberries, and “snow” drifted from the balconies to create an idyllic winter scene. Our guests were then given the grand tour of our chalet and showed all the amenities available. The spa area included manicures & pedicures, eyebrow and eyelash tinting, and of course massages. Upstairs, the Hatilier created custom felt hats, vitamin IVs provided boosts of energy, and a tooth gem artist was available for a pop of sparkle if you were feeling extra snazzy. The hot tub was available for all day soaking and our caviar bar was conveniently settled nearby. A luxurious brunch spread filled the kitchen, stacked with lemon ricotta pancakes, crumpets with poached eggs and hollandaise, and brulée citrus panna cotta. Contigo staff passed bites throughout the morning, so guests could nibble while they received their spa treatments. In addition to a designated martini bar in the lounge, a full bar showcasing nine custom cocktails was available as well. Party favors like sunset-colored Contigo playing cards, embroidered plush towels, and floral Contigo bandanas were placed around the Chalet for guests to take with them as they pleased.

Mid-day we transitioned to a poolside “Not-So-Polar Plunge” where we enjoyed a performance from an acrobatic expert, who dazzled us by dancing inside an inflatable sphere on the heated pool’s surface, and many of us enjoyed the hot tub as well! We kept lunch playful with a buffet of citrus grilled chicken and short rib sliders, sriracha ranch tater tots, and asparagus with lemon pepper prosciutto. Our pastry chef created a beautiful dessert display of sweet treats, the focus of which was a towering croquembouche.

As evening approached, the dinner table was set on the lawn, lush with colorful fruit and floral centerpieces by our friends at Gyspy Floral. We gathered at the table for a family-style dinner of rabbit legs and New York Strip prepared on our custom live fire table, as well as roasted mushrooms and house-made toasted pagnotta. Dessert was a decadent brown butter pecan cake with mango jam and caramel glaze. After Brooke thanked our guests and our team for joining us on this special day, we topped off the evening with a surprise firework display over the lake. We are so thankful for everyone who contributed to the magic of the Contigo Chalet, and we’re already looking forward to next year’s party!

Summer Celebration

Abby’s Bat Mitzvah

Nothing quite compares to the joy of celebrating a young person’s coming of age. Abby’s Bat Mitzvah pulled out all the stops and we made sure there was something exciting for everyone. We served the kids classics like tater tots, beef tenderloin sliders, fried chicken, and mac and cheese bites. For those with a more adventurous palette, there were grilled cheeses with pimento cheese and green tomato relish, tostadas with gin and agave marinated shrimp, and mini street tacos with mushroom & espazote pesto. All ages met on the dance floor for a dance party to remember.

Birthday Party

40th Birthday

For a 40th birthday celebration, we took the birthday girl and all of her closest friends to the rolling hills of Driftwood for a two day respite at Cactus Moon Lodge. Their first evening featured a three course, al fresco dinner of croqueta de jamon ahumado, hamachi crudo, and carne asada with handmade tortillas. We paired each course with a carefully selected cocktail and finished with a full bodied Cabernet. Day two was spent partying by the pool at a Miami-themed blowout, complete with quail tamales, cubano sandwiches, and brisket grilled cheeses. Before departing the next morning, guests were sent off with a hearty bowl of posole rojo and splash of hair of the dog via a bloody mary bar.

Multi-Day Event

Weekend in Austin

We brought Texas hospitality to a classic American car company for their visit to Austin. Their three day event kicked off with an Austin Food Festival themed party at Fair Market. We coordinated the service of our favorite local food trucks and created a Farm Stand with seasonal salads, house-made dips and spreads, and artisanal cheeses. Their second evening was an ode to Texas BBQ, so we headed out to Kevin Fowler’s rustic ranch for a feast of beef ribs, smoked chicken, ranch beans, fingerling potatoes, and charred cabbage slaw. The final evening closed out the event with a three course dinner at Brazos Hall in the heart of downtown. Guests raved about their heirloom melon and ceviche tostadas, Wagyu bavette with herbed couscous and cashew cream, and milk chocolate tarts with mint créme fraîche and local peaches.

Multi Day Car Launch

Mercedes

Mercedes launched their AMG GT-4 Door Coupe with a multi-day event at Circuit of the Americas, followed by a luxury dinner party at a Westlake villa. After guests at COTA zoomed a few laps around the track, we served spice-rubbed chicken, pulled pork, and Texas brisket with sides of panzanella and heirloom salad, purple cabbage slaw, and potato salad with basil oil. Dinner was an eclectic mix of food service including a live fire grill with New York strips and French cut Berkshire pork chops, a salmon ceviche raw bar, a taco stand for a taste of Tex-Mex, and a chef-attended banana foster flambé station for a bit of flair!

ACL Welcome Party

We partnered with Kennedy Creative to create a themed party for one of their top corporate clients who wanted a laid back Austin vibe. We kicked things off with roaming oysters and kept the service interactive with an eight foot living lettuce wall, which allowed us to hand-clip hydroponic lettuce from Agua Dulce Farms for guests to assemble salads with toppings of their choice. Our theme continued with a whole pig roast, complete with all the accoutrements: habanero carrot slaw, mac n’ cheese, challah rolls, jalapeño apple jelly, smoked onion barbecue sauce, and chimichurri. Guests left Austin full of good memories (and food!).

Tito’s Big Adventure Annual Incentive Trip

Tito himself requested a vegan menu for his annual blowout and we happily obliged. His party at Brazos Hall featured a family-style menu of summer vegetable fricassee, farro risotto, roasted beet salad, fingerling potatoes, and fresh herbs. As an element of fun, tables’ centerpieces were crudite boxes of edible dirt and veggies, providing guests with the unique experience of harvesting bites for themselves.
